Psalm 139:13-16

13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother's womb
14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous-how well I know it.
15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
16 You saw me before I was born.
Everyday of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

Isn't this amazing? The God of the universe knew little me before I was born and loved me despite the fact that I would and still disappoint him time and time again. God's unconditional love is truly remarkable. I love knowing that he knows exactly who Bryson will become and loves him too. And, now here comes Mabry. . .God knows just who Mabry will be. . .I take comfort in this. I pray for my children to come to know our God in a real and personal way early in life. I pray that Adam and I can be parents who teach our children not only to act like a Christian, but to think like one too.

This verse goes on to say:
17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God.
They cannot be numbered!
18 I can't even count them;
they outnumber the grains of sand!
And when I wake up,
you are still with me.

I love loving a God who thinks precious thoughts about me and my family despite all our imperfections.
